Do you hate getting sick as much as I do? The headache, the stuffed up nose, the sore throat. Ugh!! Who needs it?
I don’t think they’ve figured out how to eliminate them completely, but I do know a way to help decrease the occurrence of the common cold: help someone.
Research has shown that helping others strengthens the immune system, preventing viruses and bacteria from entering our bodies and making us sick.
It turns out that people who help others on a regular basis don’t get colds as often.
So, next time you have an opportunity to help someone, don’t pass it up. It might be the reason you’re feeling great and doing the things you love to do, instead of laying on the couch blowing your nose for the umpteenth time watching the reruns of the reruns on TV.
